    umm, not playing a big pot with AJo OOP to begin with? and overplaying a draw against resistance to follow? at least the books say "do not go broke with marginal holdings", instead try to control the potsize and get away from it cheaply if unimproved. imho.

    thiag is right. unless the table was pretty tight, you shouuld probably just muck AJ preflop from that position. post flop though, your hand is pretty strong. and after just being called on the flop, its hard to put the guy on AK, especially since he smooth called pre flop too. weird hand. id check raise this flop though. thats just me. i dunno if thats what the ballers would do, but i think if you check raise here, he folds his hand for sure

    Yes I can see open folding here and I do a lot.. This was 2nd hand at Ft... I raised and took blinds 1st hand... I dont think that this situation dictates folding and I am not a fan of limping into pot from EP with marginal holdings... That being said can I keep from going broke after the flop.... Obv there is a lot of $$ out there are many holdings he could have to call flop and have to fold turn... I thought he might be floating to see if a heart A or T hit so he could take it away and him having AK never entered my mind... It was a hard spot to ctrl pot size and to cbet a good flop for me at same time... I am hoping that this is just one of those spots that arise and that I didnt play it wrong... Its done and im not gonna dwell on it but I thought id get some input.... Thanks

    Dont fold pre. Check raise allin on flop.
