  1. wondering if anyone has played there and what they think of it?
  2. good question i want to know the same
  3. I just downloaded it there, but it's offline at the moment. Looks like the same software paddypower.com uses. If it is it's not too bad looks alot nicer than partypoker and bodog.
  4. lol actually deposited TODAY. Not a ton of players and tourneys arent very good but the bonus was good and easy to get(if u play higher stakes)

i actually got the $100 bonus in one day lol

ps. u can get SS2 if u want instead of the $100
  5. First off, I'm no online wizard. So I don't know if this is part of Prima or if it is run out of the Target snack shop. So forgive my stupidity.

I played on Doyle's for about 1 month earlier this year. It seemed to me that most players were from across the pond and the site was never really that busy. (Perhaps everyone oversees was already in bed.)

My plan was to play for the 10,000 points (or whatever it was) that you could cash for SS2. I didn't like that you had to be in the hand to earn points for it. Points can accumulate quickly if you are in a hand, but if you are going for the bonus and play tight, it might take a while.

Perhaps Fox could comment on this site if he has played it. He's much more qualified to speak on bonuses.

Anyway, after playing for a while, I burned all my points on freerolls. The nice thing about the Doyle freerolls is there actually was some $ involved. Not a ton, but at least you didn't have to win a freeroll tonight to get into one on Saturday to get cash some Bonus $$$. If you have points, the freeroll tourneys are viable.

There simply weren't that many players on the site. The biggest tourney I ever played in (not a freeroll) had only 219 players. Mind you, the highest buy-ins for a guy like me are in the $30 range.

The interface didn't really bother me. I actually liked how the cards were slightly tilted...like you were actually holding your hand.

Another nice feature was the "best hand" box. (Not sure what is is really called, but it was handy.) In the right hand corner, there is a dialogue box that tells you what your best current hand is. Most people don't need this obviously, but it was a nice insurance policy when playing O/8.

The personal info in the chat feature was kind of neat. I actually found myself reading most bios of the players I played with. However, I hated the chat feature. It was in a seperate box and I always found it hard to have more than 2 tables going on this site. I also think that many other people hated the chat feature on Doyle's and just closed the chat window. Chat was nearly non existent.

Bottom line, after one month I cashed out. No specific reason. Just grew tired of it. Would I put more money in again? Perhaps if the right bonus came along or if they offered me a heads up match against Dumb Walrus for a WSOP seat...then I would return.

Anything less and I'll see up on UB and stars.

  6. Yeah, I heard that. Apparently Fox works for Bodog!
  7. well i deposited a whole $30 today to give it a try.

not too bad so far, you guys are saying no one is ever on playing, well it says currently 4,200 players, if im not mistaken thats 3x amount thats usually on tilt at any given time...
