  1. ... in order to keep yourselves in check, and so your BR doesn't get too big so you won't/don't feel the desiere to move up in limits? I'm thinking about cashing out like 100 or 200 or so everyday. or maybe a certain percentage of my winnings every few days? or maybe weekly? anyone do this?

  2. Winnings?? Im lost. U win??
  3. how does one "win" ??
  4. I have been playing cash games for a while...I cash out monthly...and when the BR gets high enough I play higher stakes....I usually cash out 20-30% of my profit (if there is any for that month). I leave the rest in to pad the roll so to speak. This way I see and feel my accomplishments. I have free money to buy that new gadget or what ever on donks sweat.

  5. I keep roughly 25 buyins in my account at all times, and every 3 days cash the excess out(if there is any).
  6. I cash out once a week but do allow my bankroll to still grow, albeit slowly.
  7. I know I shouldn't, but I cash out every time I get to around 4k when playing in 220+15 and 120+10 6 man SNGs. It seems like when I get lower on money, I tend to play my best at all costs in order to prevent myself from going broke. I have somehow always managed to do this despite playing above my head for what I keep in my account. I definately do not advise doing this, because it's not good to rely on that instinctive reaction to getting low on your account. For me, however, it's just a matter that the possibility of losing what I have in my poker account isn't as big of a factor as keeping that desperation must play my best mode type of a thing. This would change if I could consistantly play my best, but I'm fairly new to poker still, and unable to do so.
  8. My plan is to cash out my rakeback supplemented with some winnings, but leave most winnings on to build bankroll to get into higher stakes. This will encourage me to play more since my "pay check" is directly related to how many hands I play.
  9. I never keep more than 10k in any account

    netteller/firepay/pokersites/regular bank account etc.

I figure as long as i spread the money around enough and keep moving it

it may be harder for the irs to find it?

    i dunno could be wrong

atleast it will be harder for a hacker to steal and me to blow through on tilt.

  10. I personally have a max that I cash down to every time I win a tourney. Basically keeping enough to comfortably play on, but not so much that I don't play focused. When I have too much in my online account I will end up playing too many games or just watching tv or surfing, etc.

I actually have two bank accounts now to keep my 'BR' separate from my regular job funds and bill paying. This way, I have access to the funds but still have it separate.

--Side note--"Why move up when you are winning at the current level?, Don't fix what ain't broke!" --- You should be dominating your level on a regular basis to the point you are BORED with it before you move up.
