i've initiated a few wires lately, and the fees for each one have gone up. my bank charges a flat $12 fee for all incoming wires, which i'm cool with, but the full tilt banks charge a fee as well. apparently wires initiate from full tilt's bank and go through an intermediary bank on the way to my account. this intermediary bank charges a fee that full tilt has no control over. seems pretty bs to me, each wire is costing 55+ dollars to initiate now.
it's nice not to worry about a check bouncing, but these fees add up. -
That is why they warn you before withdrawing by that method. just get a check only takes a few more days.
