  5. It helps if you've had a little bit of programming.

I put one buy-in one one sheet. In one column, I put the SNG number, as in the first one ever gets a 1, then the next gets a 2, the 37th gets 37 and so on up until however many SNGs I've played at that level. I then put my finish in that particular SNG in the column next to it. I keep good track of 1st thru 4th, but some of the others I forget and put them as a 5, 6 or 7.

Then I tally up how many 1sts, 2nds, 3rds, bubbles, and Other Finishes. In excel they have a function COUNTIF('range','criterion '). Put the column with your finishes in the range, and a 1 for the criteria. For example: "=COUNTIF(B:B,1)" The stuff inside quotation marks is what you need to put in one of the cells in the spreadsheet, and this will count your first place finishes in column B. I do that for 1st-4th, and for other I just do #played minus the total of the top four finishes. Calc total investment by doing the buyin times #played. Then calc total win by multiplying the # of firsts by its prize, and adding what you got from all your seconds and thirds. Return is Total Win minus Total Invested, at least the way I name these things. ROI is Return/Total Invested.

Just screw around with the spreadsheet, it takes a little time but it's kinda useful for this strff. It sure beats writing it all down and hacking at it with a calculator.

    Hope this helps.
  6. if your going to be playing poker this summer as a job, just get pokertracker for twenty five bucks. it keeps all your stats
  7. Or do that. Yeah. Less time consuming by far. LOL
  8. Platt - PM me with your email address and i will send u a copy of the spreadsheet that i use. I spent a lot of time creating it and it probably has way too many stats.
