Anyone know if sbrugby is intentionally sitting out vs. Antonius but playing against Ivey?

    If he's deliberately doing this, that's gotta be a statement for Antonius. Is it possible he's just better than Ivey?

    Is he playing Ivey at 200/400 and not Antonious at 300/600?

    Because thats not uncommon, Brugby and Ivey at 200/400 has turned into a huge grudge match between the two.

    I think they both think they have each other figured out.... HUGE POTS FOR X-MAS!

    Maybe Antonius too LAG for sbrugby? Next to impossible to put him on a hand, esp heads up. They were playing 4 handed w/ ozzy and phil eariler tho.

    sbrugby has said on 2+2 that he feels he has an edge over Ivey heads up but maybe not over Antonius. He also said he will play any two people in the world three handed for what its worth.

    Antonius is better than Ivey at NL, although Ivey has improved of late

    I don't know if anyone read the latest Bluff article on Antonius - but Antonius said that if the "big game" consisted of only PLO and PLHE, there would eventually be no money left on the table because he'd have it all.

    It obviously says that Aba believes he has an edge over Phil in NLHE (which he does) and that he does not feel his edge is there against Patrik (which it isn't). There is a reason noone gives Patrik any action and that is because he is the best player in the world.

    Ivey is the best poker player in the world, Patrik Antonious is the best NLHE player in the world.

    FWIW, aba/rugby also said that he wouldn't play ozzy HU...I'm pretty sure.

    Antonius is probably the best heads up and short-handed NL cash game player, but I'm not sure if he is better than Ivey in NL tourneys or in a full-ring cash games.

    I dont know a link but Bluff will update their website near the new year and it will probably be on there. Or you can go to a newsstand now and buy a copy.

    i've been saying this for a while on this forum, antonius is by far the best of the super high limit players on FTP, i don't care who you're talking about, antonius is top top

    just out of curiosity, are you guys talking about online exclusively or live also? because i basically always considered Ivey to be the absolute best live high stakes player in the world.
