I use hotkeys when I play on stars, but lately my hands and wrists have been killing me after medium length sessions (3-4 hours). My setup is about as ergonomic as I think I can make it, but the repetitive pressing of keys just doesn't seem to agree with me. I even switch from left hand to right hand about every hour without much luck.
Does anyone use a controller (combined with hotkeys) to play poker? Like something similar to a PS3 controller? I haven't gotten around to actually hooking my PS3 controller up to my computer (I've read that it's not very straightforward) and am not sure where I can find information on how to map the buttons using the AHK script that I downloaded.
Any advice? -
I have done at times. I downloaded:
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/...-2-Mouse.shtml
and assigned each button on the controller a keyboard button (I used the F1-F12 keys). Then I downloaded:
http://www.autohotkey.net/~Xander/PokerPad/
and changed the keyboard buttons they used to the "F" button I wanted and programmed one of the joysticks so I could still use it to move the controller.
There may be better ways to do it all but this worked for me and was pretty simple to set up. -

hello! the buttons should be joy1, joy2, etc... use that testscript to figure out which buttons are which. glglgl -
tyty - I'll give that a shot when I get home.

it's gonna take too much effort to hook up a PS3 controller to the computer. Especially if you can just go to a store and pick up a USB controller for $10-20.
