  1. Or if you know a better one to use. I would like to use one of these programs for coaching. I am not too good with computers and I am having a hard time taking a HH from email and getting it into the replayer and functioning. Any help would be appreciated or if you know another free easy to use replayer that works for you I am open to suggestions.

  2. I just drag the text file into the replayer and it works for me. Make sure they send it as an attachment and text file.
  3. It works if you save the hand histories on your disk, then all you need to do is drag and drop the file into the replayer and voila...

If you're sent the HH thru email I guess u can c/p the whole text into a .txt file but it might cause some glitches I guess.
  4. be sure to have the hhs saved as a text on ur computer b4 u tried to drag it onto the universal replayer screen. then be sure to click temporary file and not save. those are only problems ive encountered and ive used universal for some time
  5. 1. When you have the files in the Convert files window; make sure you have the correct Poker client to match you HH or the files will not convert.
    2. Some times you will get a HH with each line beginning with "<" character. You can remove this character by opening the file in Notepad> follow these steps
    a. Click the "Edit" drop menu
    b. Select "Replace" and type the "<" (not with quotes) in the find box then put a space bar click in the Replace with box
    c. click the "Replace all" Icon
    d. close the Replace box

Now the file can be copy/paste to the text window of the converter
  6. yea I use Universal Replayer all the time, Its great! as for your issue here is an easy solution.

Step1-- Sign up for a free dropbox account (have your students do the same)

Step2-- Link a new folder from your account to theres (thats now a shared folder between the two of you)

Step3-- Have them drag there hand histories into that folder.

Step4 You drag them from folder right onto Universal Replayer. ..... And your done

you can also download the dropbox client to make it easier and not having to log onto the dropbox website each time.

    Hope this helps!
  7. Special thanks to All4ang for helping me out on skype with this. I am all set for now I think with Justin's help but I would like to thank everyone who replied. This will make lessons and hh help so much easier for me for sure. Justin I promise if you ever would like a poker lesson you get a free one for sure.
