  1. As it came to light the person who sent spreadsheet was fired by AP,and this is what was actually the smoking gun it seems,or at least helped unravel the final stages.

It would make sense that the poker community or Adam bring up the fact that this person be compensated or rewarded for helping even unwittingly. Not be punished!
  2. I think he should be entitled to his job back if he wants it (if he was actually fired). Also, I would love for someone to find this guy and get him to come here and post his story.
  3. Totally!

  4. I hope this person files a lawsuit, goes public, never has to see the jerks who fired him/her again, and wins tons of dough for his/her trouble. I hope the person who did the firing rots in hell.
  5. Is this true information? Where did you hear it, I don't think they would have made a decision so quick. If he gets fired over this, then basically AP is saying the cheating was by management and that this information was never to be disclosed. In reality AP should be happy that this guy sent out this information if it was an individual who cheated.
  6. i like the explanation on neverwin
  7. If you would like to see this guy, I'd imagine you would need your scuba gear. Sleeps with fishes in waters near Costa Rica.

Funny one of my first posts in 2005 I questioned why someone inside the company doesn't relay info, like hole cards, back to friends in US. They could make a killing. Guess they read my post.
  8. well, in all honesty, this person did send out a document filled with very sensitive information(the hole cards of every high limit player in the tourney and the ip addys of countless others).
i would imagine another scenario where there was no potripper/superuser and a file containing all this info was sent out and used against the high limit players... a lot of people in this community would be calling for this person's job.

and they should all be fired.
  9. Brag post that I was the first to bring up the possibility it WASN'T emailed out accidentally !!

    Ok, I'm done.

  10. He may have been someone with morals who did it on purpose, they know what they are and are not send out no doubt!

  11. The question comes would anything have happened if AP was the only ones to know about this? Would they have "made it right" if no one outside AP had found out? Looks like not...I wont be playing there.

  12. with all of this tracking down via IP address and email addresses, etc....it just seems that whoever sent the email could also be tracked down and linked to a specific email address or name....that might be some of the info Nat has kept quiet

  13. Great point, obviously they cover-up like Nixon if they had the chance to do so and never had to admit a superuser account existed. They were still trying to cover-up when it was clear there was a SUA so they aren't going to come clean until it is the last possible option to save anything. Playing there and supporting their business is the wrong thing to do on so many levels. They are a poorly run company owned by people that care only about their customers money (rake and what they can steal if allowed to).
  14. Theres no way this guy should have been hired, expect if given out the spreadsheet with IP addresses and emails is against their rules. I also agree that in light of the situation this guy should be commended if indeed he sent it out to get all this information out to the public. I hope this guy make a statement at some time.
  15. Hopefully he sues them, although it may have no merit as wrongful termination if he violated his job duties.
