    Absolute Poker Admits "Internal Breach"
Absolute Poker on Friday morning admitted an "internal breach" following accusations from the online poker community that a company "employee" had been able to see other players whole cards.

An official from the company admitted the breach and that Absolute had only uncovered who the culprit was Thursday afternoon.

"Players who were affected by this unfortunately situation will be paid in full," the official told Gambling911.com. "Furthermore, a third party investigation has already gotten underway and we will be inviting anyone from the online poker community who wants to take part in this investigation as a means of ensuring how committed we are to getting this matter resolved."

No management personnel were involved in this incident, the company official relayed.

"The person in question knew the internal system at Absolute Poker intimately. We want to ensure everybody that no person can hack into our system from the outside."

Absolute Poker is working diligently to have this matter resolved.

"We need to prove to the online poker community that this can never happen again," the official said.

A company statement sent out to the public was expected by late afternoon Friday.

  5. "Players who were affected by this unfortunately situation "

They can't even speak English properly. I have no hope for them being able to run an online poker room....
  6. More lies? It was in fact management.

  7. they just can't stop the lies....discovered thursday afternoon........way to bring out the truth AP....
  8. Fucking goddammit I hate when people spell it "whole" cards that's so nerve-wracking. I can understand when some Joe Schmoe poster does it but this is supposed to be a goddamn article.
  9. LOL^^^
  10. TY it annoys me too
  11. and they knew about it the whole time...this is them trying to save their jobs!!

  12. Yeah opposed to the half cards... I hate it when people are able to sneak a peek at my half cards.

I've seen "whole cards" so many times over the last week that we might as well just start using that rather than hole card.

Wait! Lets call it full card! Then everybody can think PS and FTP have a cheat option in the menu to see full cards.
  13. This is far from being an official statement.

I'll wait for one of the P5s people to post it, not rely on some second-hand story from a third-rate, poorly-edited online joint.
  14. and no management was involved??? i'm pretty sure Nat has said that he has evidence or someone inside AP has told him they were involved...

  15. he's qouting an official from Absloute that's pretty oficial...

  16. An "official" official?

Well I love their "official" statement that they need to prove this can never happen again, considering their other "official" statements all said this could never happen in the first place.

Yeah, good luck proving that, Mr. Official.

And I'm sorry, this article looks like some made up crap. Does this official have a name?
  17. I bet you that what was in this article is going to be covered or atleast related to what is going to be in the official statement released soon.
  18. When the first allegations came out last month and AP's denial(before the IP revelations), I made a post suspicous of their no breach findings. I speculated then that the evidence was so obvoius that the cheaters had to be highly associated with AP or otherwise an underling would be thrown under the bus. I still find little credability in AP by distancing themselves now that new proof has surfaced. They knew who this was weeks ago and tried to cover it up. There is no way anyone should continue to support this site. They were forced to admit after the great job by the folks here and 22. I do not play at UB much either, but feel ownership must change to salvage their reputation and business as well.
  19. Eh, I think the spelling error was the fault of the publisher rather than the official who made the statement.

I still would like the name of the official though because I don't think this story has any credibility without proof.
  20. this isnt the official statement you morons, this is just a gambling 911 article quoting a source.

"A company statement sent out to the public was expected by late afternoon Friday."

    HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
  21. such BS @ "no management was involved." probably just paid some joker programmer to take the fall.

Are they ever going to specically address or acknowledge all the evidence presented against them, or are they going to keep trying to sweep their shit under the rug despite the fact that they keep getting busted for doing so.
