It is a nice thing when any business tries to better itself by getting as much feedback from their customers as possible and utilizing the feed back for customer satisfaction but with the length of the thread and problems listed its pretty obvious to me this site/business was never operated with the right people or goals.

IMO the history of both of these companies shows they were always in the business strictly for the money. On top of that there were the 'bad eggs' as they say that were exposed in both AP and UB which robbed people of thousands. In an industry which makes such copious amounts of money this to me is unacceptable. Did anyone pay for these incidents? Not to my knowledge at this point. The companies were both sold and are now under new ownership. I understand many if not all of the funds lost were paid back to the victims (and with interest), and that the new owners won a lawsuit vs the previous holders to make these payments, but with this type of business history and flawed software client on a clearly aboudent level why pay for their service??

There are smaller companies/sites in the saturated online poker market with much more integrity and focus on costumer satifsfaction. I also believe that many of these companies could not even dream of being able to afford/recieve for free the amount of feed back that AP/UB got from their thread. I think if UB can afford to have Phil Hellmuth smash up a stock car for a commercial promo as well as hire 100s of ppl for his (imo sad sad) WSOP ME arrivement, they can sure as hell spend a little on research and developement.

They were a part of the big 3 in the day but IMO its time for someone new to take a firm hold in that spot. Even though I was not directly affected by the UB/AP scandals/ software (other then trying out AP for an hour then cashing out after somone in a cash game doubled up, stood up and rebought again instantly for the MIN), I believe if a company was responsible for starting sooo many negative threads on this site is still near the top, thats not rite. If a player cheats and breaks the rules, they are punished or banned, why should a site be treated any different by its players if it breaks the rules or cheats them ?

I dont understand why hundrends of community memebers are helping this site.. I guess real world business just knows what to do in order to make people forgive and forget.... kinda sad.
