PokerListings.com has temporarily suspended the listing of the Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet poker rooms as a result of serious problems with both historical and current payments due PokerListings for services rendered. We are aware that our decision not to list these two brands may be an inconvenience, but as a trusted guide and resource, we do not believe it is appropriate to continue listing them.
Sincerely,
The PokerListings.com Team -

Absolute Poker has been suspended for an indefinite period of time by Poker Junkie as a result of their refusal to fulfill agreements with us and promotional agreements we are jointly offering Poker Junkie readers.
As this is not the first time Absolute Poker has failed to meet its obligations, Poker Junkie determined a more serious course of action was warranted in order to protect our players and our business.
We hope to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and thank you for your understanding at this time. -
So absolute and ub owe money to pokerlistings which means they are struggling financially and so the whole potripper thing is an inside job to get some extra money back to the site? Is that right? Shit, i thought all poker sites were raking huge amounts of cash in, i mean they don't have that many overheads do they?

RakeBrain.com has temporarily stopped listing poker rooms Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet because of serious problems with both historical and current payments owed to RakeBrain.com for services rendered.
As a dependable resource for online players, we strongly feel it is our responsibility to protect our readers. As such, we felt it would be inappropriate to continue listing these poker rooms at this time, and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Please note that all players who have already signed up for rakeback with Absolute Poker via RakeBrain.com will receive their rakeback as usual. -
This is from another major referrals site (they went a step ahead and blacklisted them as well as taking every Ultimate Bet ad from their site)
Absolute Poker has been added to the blacklist due to the very high likelihood that cheating was, and may still be going on in high stakes cash games and tournaments, and that this was either perpetrated by someone within the AP organization, or AP has been excessively negligent in their security. In one incident, a master hand history was sent to a player who had grown suspicious about action he witnessed in a $1,000 buy-in tournament from 9/12/07. That requested hand history, presumably sent by mistake, was a master hand history (it contained the hole cards of each player.) When looking through each individual hand of this tournament, it's obvious that one of the players had knowledge of what all players were holding.
The fact that at least one player on Absolute Poker was cheating is virtually indisputable. How they were getting their information to cheat with, and who was giving it to them is a matter of speculation. However, it's obvious that Absolute Poker is not a safe place to play. -
Noone else think that this stinks of an inside job with all these unpaid partners springing up?
