  1. $4.40 - 180 man with 58 players left avg stack 4600

    Blinds 100/200 no Antes yet

    Button 12765 chips
    Hero (SB) 9875 chips
    Hero Dealt: AsQh

Folds around to Button and he mini raises to 400

    1) Lets says you KNEW that the button had KcJs and you KNOW that he will SNAP CALL if you shove. Do you:
    a) Ship it and take 60/40?
    b) Call and take a flop?
    c) or make a standard reraise? if so do you call a reraise allin from button?

    2) Lets say you KNEW that the button had KcJs and you know that he WILL NOT call a shove, but he will call a standard raise and might go allin. Do you:
    a) Ship it anyway?
    b) Call and take a flop?
    c) or make a standard reraise? if so do you call a reraise allin from button?

I guess what I am after is what am I hoping for in spots like this? Is this a spot in the tourney where I am looking for a big flip? or should I be sort of preserving my stack and only try to play small pots?

Is it merely a case of deciding whether or not I want to play a high variance style versus a lower variance style?

    Thanks
