    all his accounts, email, aim and potentially facebook were hacked. Make sure not to do any transfers with him.

    Didnt even have to read this thread to know Aim was going to be hacked. Still dont get why people use Aim as it seems every post that people post about getting hacked has Aim in it.

    Is there something wrong with using Yahoo or MSN? I can count on one hand how many posts I have seen where people have said their Yahoo or MSN was hacked versus tons of people saying their Aim was hacked.

    So, why the fuck do people still use Aim?

    Its not aim that gets hacked. It's the aim user. They are easier to exploit. As a matter of fact nothing got hacked and never does truly get hacked in any of these instances the breach was comprimised by the users actions. A true hack is when they gain access to your account without shipping you a key logger or something. It's comparable to picking a lock rather than scamming somebody out of their keys and then using the key.

    ya im getting rsa shit set up today...so annoying tho. he originally hacked into them on sunday morning at like 4am est but thankfully i only lost 1k cause he is prolly the dumbest hacker ever and attempted to transfer himself money. i ended up getting control of everything before sundays tho and changed my pw's and got a new email that he ended up hacking into yesterday. luckily i realized it before he got into my poker accounts again and got all of my money out but he does have complete control of them right now. so ya any suggestions for keeping this guy off my email would be great cause it just seems like hes gonna keep following my accounts

    wow man pretty Fd up, and ya he sounds like a pretty smart guy trying to transfer ur funds to his account , gl gettin it straightend out

    Sounds like he has an IP tracker that he's "following" you with to open forum e-mail accounts like gmail, yahoo, etc. I would suggest:

    1) Delete all cookies, temp internet files, etc. etc. from IE or FireFox.
    2) Run debug to see if there's some form of tracking malware that was installed on your comp at some point.
    3) Delete any files you have download since the original hack that may not have come from a "trusted site."
    4) If none of the above work, there's always the option of paying for a private e-mail address.
    5) If even that doesn't work, I would then take a guess to say the hacker is really not hacking into your computer but your network. Is your network connection secured and encrypted? If not, set up an encryption password.

    Use a buddys PC to change all your passwords and set up a new email address. Or use a public library or something.

    yeah definitely going to take every precaution when starting my new email and stuff. thanks everyone for the helpful advice!
