  1. Just wanted to state they are great and they are what differentiate p5's from 2+2, cardplayer, and bluff (not saying better, just diff). No other site has better articles imo.

I honestly look forward to EVERY ARTICLE. keep up the good work!
  2. i can say im in agreement and do enjoy most of the articles, wish some others in particular on here would also join in and write some though
  3. Awwwwwthankeeeeee....

They're fun to do, and definitely help me with my own game. I'm glad others like them too.

I don't think most people realize how hard it is to consistently pump out good articles month after month. We definitely appreciate that more than you know....and obviously plenty of our readers do too

  5. I know that I sure appreciate the efforts of the p5 authors.

Thanks again all of you contributors to the front page!!!!!
  6. I'd be interested in writing an article or two. Is that a possibility? Would be nice to give back to a site that has done so much for me.

  7. Nate,

We're always looking for member-provided content for our front page articles :) The work our Contributing Writers have done in '08 is nothing short of amazing. Grapsfan and Seal have written monthly articles for P5's ever since 2005. Assassinato of PokerPwnage and Bond18 articles are some of the most highly anticipated in online poker, bar none. Top 10 players AJKHoosier1 and USCphildo have contributed awesome, well received content as well. Financial adviser and Sunday Million winner CardXFactor has helped so many of our readers with bankroll management and investment advice.

Also the guys at FinalTableTeam (JasonGray, MrCasino, Octavian_C, TheTruth503, billywestom and jakz101poker) have done an outstanding job of balancing an extremely busy online & live poker schedule while still writing for P5's readers twice per month. Kice32 and zpaceman write for us when they're able to and newcomer JACK WELCH (undefeated racer of elephants) debuted big with his Top 10 Non Poker Books for Poker Players article last week. There are a few P5'ers who have already attracted many readers to their P5's Blogs. Cre8ive, stsitron and scoopspecialist all have Top 10 site blogs right now, and I'd say SluggerWV has the best mix of poker and non-poker blog content.

It proves how many P5'ers are working hard to provide members with informative, relevant, and entertaining content. There's one more person who has really helped put P5's front page content on the map, and that's P5's Marketing Director Dan Cypra. His industry/legislative updates along with the WSOP recaps have gone a long way to prove that we're serious about keeping the online poker community informed and giving online poker players the coverage (and due credit) they deserve. Plus, PocketFivesLive.com reporters put in a stellar performance during the entire WSOP. We have extended FTOPS IX coverage on tap this week as well.

If you're a writer with a positive attitude who plays poker then we'd definitely like to hear from you. You can email me at davidh@pocketfives.com or send me a PM here on the site if you're interested in providing content for P5's. Being a PocketFives.com Contributing Writer does not require a certain average buy in level or anything like that. If you enjoy online poker, either professionally or recreationally, you can be an active part of the community. It's also nice to know that your article will be read and appreciated by thousands.

Being the focal point of the online poker community is a privilege. We constantly seek ways to improve P5's and make it even more attractive to all poker players from across the globe. PocketFives.com was built from the ground up by a group of individuals who shared a passion for online poker and the players who make the game possible. More than three years later, that passion to be THE online poker authority remains.

    David
