    Hi all, I've got permission from Adam to post this so no spam alerts please!

    I work for a UK poker magazine and we're starting a new feature where the readers get to ask the pro anything they want (kind of an In the Well feature). In future months our readers will simply email me questions for the pros who will be taking a turn in the well. But, for the first one we've got a short lead time so I am posting on a few poker forums to get some good material.

    First to take a turn in the well is Gus Hansen. So fire away with any questions you would like to ask Gus and i'll put the best ones to him when I interview him. If you would like to have your name/town printed (and it isn't in your profile) then please leave it after the question(s). If you'd rather stay anon or just use your screename then that's cool too.

    as a serious question, What kind of stuff do you say into your recorder that you carry when you are playing live? Do you find it very helpful?

    Hey Ryan,

    I asked Gustav this question at the WSOPE as i'd seen him doing it throughout the Aussie Millions. I believe he's writing a book all about that tournament including a lot of hand analysis, so he was relaying his thoughts on particular hands for use in the book. However, I shall ask him again and press him on an ETA of said book.

    Gus,

    In your honest opinion, what do you feel is harder to win consistently at?

    A large online field tournament such as the Sunday million or world series of online poker event,
    or do you feel a wpt or world series event is harder.

    This is meant in terms of same sample size of players and events played equally.

    Gus,
    I consider you one of the original LAG players. IMO, you had a great deal of success at a time when the game had more TAG style players to play against. My question is: Do you find it more difficult these days playing LAG as opposed to 3 or 4 years ago when there were fewer LAG players to play against?

    Gus-

    Have you considered tightening your poker game in terms of card ranges because of your loose image, or do you continue to play the same regardless?

    What poker players are you friends with away from the tables?

    What advice would you give to players trying to go pro?

    What event in your life really drove you towards deciding poker would ultimately become your career?

    What are some luxuries your poker stardom have allowed you to purchase? What kind of car do you drive?

    Gus-

    A lot of beginners tell me that you are their favorite player. Do you feel that it's a good idea to attempt to emulate your style as a beginner, or would you advise a new player to play a tighter game?

    Gus-

    Word is you have tightened up your NL tournament style. Is this true? If so, is it because you decided you need to play the opposite of your established image, or because of any different reasons worth discussing?
