  1. Unfortunately, Pocketfives is not tracking live tournaments at this time. With the WSOP just days away, some are planning their departure for Sin City, some are already there. But some just won't be able to make it. P5's Live was a great site to keep track of the progress fellow members were making in tournaments. Since they won't be there this year, I'd like to try and do something to update the masses. But I will need the help of those playing in the events.

Social networking seems to be the easiest way to make content available, Twitter in particular. Players could tweet interesting hands, table draws, or any other points of interest. While this would not provide any content to the site, it would allow users to track their friends and favorite players easily. Depending on player involvement and the overall amount of content, I'd like to make regular posts summarizing the content received. That way, P5'ers would be able to locate some semi-live information, and bring the content to Pocketfives itself. I can't commit to daily posts for the entire series, but I'm sure with the help of other P5'ers following on Twitter, updates could come regularly.

If anyone has any better ideas to this, please suggest it. At the moment, I ask anyone playing in the WSOP to post your Twitter account, or sign up for Twitter. Many cellphones and media players have a Twitter app, it makes for a convenient communication medium. This is a grassroots effort, and needs the support of any interested party. With the Main Event still over a month away, there's a lot of room to try this process out, and see if it works. With some participation, I think we can all take part in making something great.
  2. One way to have this organized also is to have P5's open a Twitter account and all the players from the Community that are playing in WSOP events, Ceasars, Venetian events can Update Their Twitter account, P5's Twitter account follows all of the Players and Members and Makes a list of them, so every time they update a status its automatically updated on PP5 Twitter Account and all we have to do is follow P5's account and we get everyones updates.... Just an Idea
  3. A sticky thread in top of PD would work where people can update themselves as well
