do u hate my river call? also, is there any other way to play this hand on flop and/or turn? -
I dont Hate your river call...but you played the hand totally wrong IMO. Pre-flop you have to cbet him somewhere around 490 -550 and you played the hand way to passive. I know you are in EP but if you woulda raised his bet pre he has two options from there. Jam your raise. or call/fold. On the flop I dont like your call. It would of never turned out like this if you just woulda cbet him pre. Becasue then hes looking to hit, and if he doesnt your going to make a good bet and he woula easliy gotten away from that.

Played fine on every street. It's less than a pot sized bet, so I don't mind the river call.
It's probably a close fold though if you really think about it. Can't say that I'm folding very often, especially at 30/60 though. There are no missed draws on the board. You lose to AK/AJ, chop with all other aces (but what else other than AT/AQ is opening UTG there?), lose to QT, AA, KK and JJ. In order for a call to be profitable he has to bluff Kx or a smaller pair a high percentage of the time. -
Yeah, I misread the HH. Sorry.
3b/c v. shorty and 3b/f vs anyone that cold 4balls. As played, I agree with folding flop. -
3bet pre. If he jams fold, unless he's a maniac and we've seen him do this sort of thing before. Lead flop to represent high cards, if he's too short and already commited check is ok.

No. He starts the hand with 20bbs, 3betting serves no purpose if we're planning to fold. May as well 3bet 93o in that case. This is a clear 3b/c situation.

3b/call pre. As played you have to call the river. Id probably bet the turn/ get it in turn but meh think you played the hand alright
-
I would prefer a 3b pre, maybe something like mini raise, but as played probably I would fold on the flop because opponents stack is too short to call that flop. On the river is a definite call.

When we just call pre we will be in awkward position if someone is willing to squeeze to get it in with the initial, and even if we do get to see the flop we will miss most of the time. So if we are willing to get it in in most flops vs his stack, I would prefer preflop. -
you played it fine...not gonna say to fold river, but i mean, you really only beat a bluff, and honestly he's prolly just not bluffing here a lot...but the way the hand played out, i can see calling
i think given the fact that he's opening early position, and is kind of shorter you prolly should just be folding to his cbet. he prolly doens't cbet thattttttt wide on this kind of board
gonna echo what a lot of people said, he has less than 20bb pre...def gotta consider getting it in pre. flatting here is awkward with these stacks and our hand isn't all that strong. i'm kind of biased cause i looked at results, cause my first instinct was to just fold pre. he's opening pre-ante less tahn 20bb from utg...from utg+1 AQo just isn't that good, you can't 3b/call profitably vs a lot of people, and flatting is just too awkward/tough to play
given the fact that he's opening QT tho, folding is prolly bad, so i guess we should be 3b/calling then
but ya, with no reads i def don't mind just folding pre
