  1. What is your play here? I have no reads on my opponents but i am assuming the shorty's range is way behind me here. With that said, is it a shove, smooth call or can i possibly fold?

  2. i probably just call...
  3. And call if the original raiser shoves?

  4. It helps tremendously to have some kinda read on the originial raiser.......anything........folding to a shove after callin is terrible....so if your playing taking the aggressive stance and raise it 6800........I'd prolly like to see him fold...
  5. I shove. Original raisers range includes any pair any big card combo and big ace etc, still may even include suited connectors. If he has this beat next tournament for me. Given original raisers stack size a raise to 5k pot commits you against him anyways, so preserve max fold equity and stick it in. You cant make it 6k then fold to 2200 more.

This is a tough spot but given the original raisers range I think youvery likely have the best hand with a lot of dead money in there somuch so that you need to find out where you are at. Re raising to isowill absolutely force out AQ AJ AT which are likely holdings as well asget lower pairs to fold. Just calling is too weak I think given how bigyour chip stack is at the time.

Shove it in, hope he doesnt have QQ+.

    Results?
  6. Ya it obv helps to have a read but the reality of it is that when you are playing so many tables you wont have a read on most of the players. So the decision is based on stacks sizes, position etc. I agree calling and folding to a reshove is way to weak. Ill post results later.

  7. shove it innnnnnn.
  8. I shove here. If you call and price the original raiser into calling, you're basically set-mining.

  9. honestly im not even a tight player by any means but i think this is a clear fold. The all ins range doesnt necessarily have you beat but you have to consider the initial raiser.(shove could still have you beat its not like he isnt shoving if he has you beat)He can hurt you and you have a very healthy stack in relation to the blinds, Id rather chip up in small pots as the aggressor myself, if he doestnt shove then reraising the initial raiser is definitely an option to see where your at and to take the aggressive approach...
  10. not a clear fold let me rephrase that
  11. eek tough spot, shove prolly
  12. depends on the opener raisers range, but since tacks are 45 bb and theres 15 bb in the pot already its a shove to most players

  13. Curious about this.

What if this was a tournament that meant a great deal to you, WSOP ME for example, or the only tournament you would be playing that night...etc...

    Still shove?

I think a shove may be slightly +ev here, hoping to see the other two with AK, AK or such, but all in all, there is something to be said for folding this and waiting to be the agressor into a pot rather than reacting to two in front of you.

I'm not sure if, given my "important tournament to you" qualifier, I wouldn't just fold this here.

    Yes I am that weak.
  14. SC, I had to giggle at your post after your shove fest in the 30R last night on Full Tilt. Good job in the WSOP.
  15. shove JJ+/AK imo
