Hi guys, I am looking into a new setup but have some queries for the computer/monitor experts. I suffer from conjunctivitis alot due to long hours grinding :O and want to get some large monitors to help solve this.
I would like to get 2 Samsung Lcd TV's (32" or 37" not sure yet) but wonder if the picture on these will be as crystal clear as my computer monitors? I understand that the resolution is key (1920x1080 should be ok for multiple windows on screen?) but other than this I really am not sure :(
Any information on playing multiple tables on Lcd TV's , window capacity-resolution, required HDMI? leads and general accessories would be very much appreciated ..... I will initially try it on my lappy (splitter required?) or if I'm not happy may even buy a new desktop.
I will ship some $$ on stars to anyone who can conjure up a total shortcut link to anything relevant to setting this up :D
Here is a link to one I have looked at - should it be ok?
Thanks , holly17

If you can afford 2 of these, you won't regret it.

2560 x 1600 resolution - will be higher than any TV you can buy, and you will be able to fit more tables on the screen. However, I highly doubt any basic laptop video card could support these 2 monitors. You would need to pick up a new desktop. 500-800 bucks should do it there.
Something along these lines should do, the computer doesn't need to be outrageous.
It will need a seperate video card with dual outputs.

Mid-Line graphics card that will support the 2560x1600 resolution of those monitors

Should be able to keep the whole set up under $2700. -
Wow, thanks dills2214 , that shit is extremely helpful and you've made me indecisive :O I understand that those monitors are extreeeeemely nice (and will seriously consider them) but another question ..... would the picture on a 32"lcd tv be crystal clear even tho it's not quite as good/not quite as many tables ?? Plus the second link for the desktop is not working :( and I really am clueless any more help would be very much appreciated ..... Also I live in the UK and the shipping / delivery from that site may have complications ??
PM me if you prefer ..... I will ship some $$$ on stars for your time , although it may be in a couple weeks as I am currently on an oil rig and unable to access stars :(

Bigger I guess...can sit on the couch and have 50" to look at instead of sitting in comp chair and looking at 30". That'd be my guess? Always wanted a lazy boy to sit in since I slouch so much but it won't fit under a desk...Thinks I needs to go to a tv....
