Oh no, super snap turbo call. Everytime even against much nittier opponents.
You gotta win these flips to win mtts. ESP on merge where the late game structure gets so shitty. You win that flip and you go to the final table with a massive stack (relatively speaking) and ready to take charge.
Being the cl at this spot, with this structure, is overrated due to teh general shallow nature of the stacks. You have to willing to go with as many +ev spots as you can find and not look back. This is def one of those spots.
Oh btw-what skin are you on and how do you retrieve these hh? -
im on lock and i got the HH from HEM

also what should be the bottom of my calling range here?
-
Look at it this way. Let's assume that AT offsuit is the absolute bottom of his range. He may be shoving wider, but we know for a fact he is at least this wide. 99 is a virtual flip (49.2 % equity) against that range. When you factor in all the chips that are already out there, this is a fairly profitable call. Worst case scenario, you are adding ~5400 chips in the long run by making this call. Add in the fact that this is a bounty tournament, and it becomes even more profitable. As Village Grinder said, the chip lead at this point isn't a huge deal due to stack sizes. However, if you win this all-in your stack will be big enough to be able to push people around at the final table.
Depending on the player, Id probably be willing to call with 55+, AT+ and Id expand that if it were a villain whom I knew could shove fairly wide. -
Right as ba pointed out knowing how wide to call depends on how competant of a villian he is. Generally the more competant the villian the wider you wanna be calling.
And here's why any sort of a competant villian is gonna know that raise folding ANY kind of a decent hand in this spot is horrible. So he's likely gonna be shoving his entire range in this spot meaning that I really could even see a really good opponent shoving as wide as say 78s.
Now you can't assume that everyone is going to be doing this so you'll need to adjust your calling range accordingly. Vs an unknown opponent i think ba is pretty close to correct. I might fold out 55 just cause like we're always just calling off knowing we are in a flip. Calling 55 isn't bad I just might wait for now esp against an opponent (or field) wherein I felt I had a decent advantange. I might add in A9 and prolly KQ. -
thanks a lot guys i appreciate it
