Looks perfectly fine to me. I'd say player 1 got fucked.
-
Cool "Edit" button tho
-
what would ya guys propose? What deal would look fair to all 3 players ? Is there a program where I can run the numbers myself, in a fair way? I know that PS numbers always favors the bigstack.
-
looks ok with me.. by how much do you think you are getting screwed?
-
don't really know. that's why I'm asking ya guys
-
first i like to use a clean 20d bill lay across the top and crush left to right in a smooth motion with a bic lighter. then you can use a credit card to chop if no razor but static may make it cling in which case you will have to lick it off for a good nummie
-
Player 1 is mentally retarded. /thread

This may be a useful tool to help with any chop calculations in future:

You did fine, especially if the big stack knows how to use leverage!
You got a nice deal. -
so for future deal-discussions, we like to chop by chip counts as a big stack and by icm as a shortstack?
-
or u could of shoved ur 9bb stack and get called with junk by big stack and lose and get 700less then u did..wow lol good chop...
-
WHAT ?????LOL BRO THAT WAS A GREAT GREAT DEAL U GOT UR SELF 600 HUNDREDS XTRA , SO NO IT WAS A GREAT DEAL .
-
hahahaha vwp
-
i suppose by the numbers i guess ur deal was fine, but idk it might just be me, or the fact that im not taking into consideration that the money means something to u. but im never taking an extra $623 and passing on the 2k u could get if u pull out a win. i mean, even if u go out now, ur gonna lose $623 but if u were to even come in 2nd u would get 443 more than the chop.
like i said, it might just be me, and the $623 might mean more to u than i, but i would never take this deal for that small amount of money. -
you had about %10 of the chips in play and %10 of the prize pool would have been $1327.90. (@ work so I think thats right.)

A couple of other things you would want to adjust for are skill edge and BR size. If you see a guy with 2K in lifetime cashes and your chopping 20K theres a good chance you can squeeze him because at this point the money will matter much more to him than you. should also be using this in play, if your overly aggressive and he's timid keep pushing the deal, eventually he will take less. I also like to have an idea of how\what to chop, then make an offer with a time limit and stick to it. extra pressure ftw. -
This is exactly why I was thinking bout not to make a deal actually. I mean i only had 8 BB and the other guy had only smthing ard 16 BB. And with these high blinds and antes everything can happen. I mean i only get more than $650 than 3rd place but if we keep playing i've a shot for 2,000 more.

Is there anyone at the higher levels that will not chop a tourney no matter what?
