I guess I probably should have bet the turn, even though he would have called, and then push the rvr to take the pot down? -
ya truly there i would just check fold the flop man.
-
Check fold flop.

Step I:
I know his pre-f mini-raise is showing weakness, but you only have have a weak[A6] also.
This should be folded pre-f. Hand over move on to next hand.
Step II:
Hello, you miss the flop. You have no hand & no draw. This should be folded, hand over move on to next hand.
In low buy-in poker, they don't fold when they have a pair or make a pair. -
folding pre is the best advice.
and you're not gonna get him off middle pair top kicker, sorry. -
So, general consensus, I was over ambitious here.
-
I agree that this hand should be folded preflop. You're still at a full table and UTG+1 and the UTG has min-raised. This is usually a sign of some strength, not weakness, especially at this level. You only have A,6, even if it is suited. You've got enough chips for now. Chuck it and let someone else go broke on this hand. Not to mention that if someone reraises behind you, you're going to have to lay it down.
But, since you did come into the hand... check, fold to any bet on that flop. IMO. -
Yes, the players are not good enough to fold to your show of strength.
He's playing his cards, not your action
