I am just looking for advice to increase my EV. This spot to me is normally opposition based. Do you normally go for it in this type of spot knowing that these 180 SnGs get very fast or do you need to know your villains first?

My reason for this is pretty much because SB is folding most time and BB is calling lots of times with worse. Has most of his stack from calling a shove with 79o PF and also he has been very active. This means I see his range as being very wide.

So pretty much I am asking is what do you think of this spot?
  2. Standard shove. If both blinds fold, you're increasing your stack by 600, which is about a 20% increase. Given your read, it's very possible that the big blind will be calling you with worse, so that just sweetens the deal. Unlucky that you ran into 66 and (I'm guessing) lost. Don't question it though, it's a profitable play to shove here.

    Agreed
  4. good shove with your stack. Raise/fold is kind of bad and folding pre is way way too nitty.
  5. I was only checking to improve my knowledge and I didn't mind the shove too much based on my read but now this just adds more knowledge to my game

BTW I did hit my 7 to win the hand and ended up taking a 4th in the tournament
