The question I have is should I have bet it on the end? I was ridiculed by BB, saying I was "classless white trash" and should have checked it down because of the 1 all-in and everyone checked it to the river. Was I wrong for betting when I hit? I didn't feel I did anything wrong, and wrote it off as him just being pissed because I got lucky. I understand the etiquette in this situation as not betting unless you have a strong hand, as to keep more people in and the chances greater that the AI doesn't win. I believe I was in the right, but am open to criticism so that I can adjust in the future if needed. TIA EDIT: I am unsure what I am doing wrong, but the HH is going all into one paragraph. If anyone can tell me where I am screwing up, I would appreciate it.
  2. You're not a PC.
  3. Ignore the idiot chat after the hand, play to maximize your own game. Poker is not a team sport.

Totally agree, unsure what I did wrong. I used the FTR converter, not sure what I did wrong.

  6. I think it is bad if you have K high and bet the others out of the pot and the all in person wins. If you have a good hand bet it.

In some tourneys lately I have called some allins after another person called just because I knew that I was going to get to see all 5 cards. Everyone has started this "rule" of not betting once someone is in, but heck if you can get a few extra chips out of someone that is the whole point of poker.

Here I tried to clean it up a bit here.

Basically, you are allowed to bet a hand that you hit, and the guy is offbase that you wouldn't bet a made hand when you make it to the river. (and if he's beating you, he isn't folding on that board).

So, I would ignore it. It is really only bad ettiquette to bluff at a dry side pot, when there is no reason to. In these instances, you rarely are gaining any personal equity, but your handing most of the table equity to the all in stack.

But, if you have a hand, bet it, you never owe another player to cost yourself equity at the table. Every move you do should be to put yourself in the best position to win (or do what's best for you).
  8. Thanks. Like I said, not sure what I did wrong. I am using Google Chrome, don't know if maybe that is the problem. Thanks to everyone for their support. I try to keep a professional composure at the tables, and didn't think I did the wrong thing, but is good to hear from others whose opinions I respect. Once again, P5s comes through.
