  1. It's extremely interesting that people like you are missing the entire point.

Your average 9 to 5er fish is not going to use a phone card to deposit money on a gambling site.
  2. why not ? why does everyone think fish dont use neteller, etc ??

If fish are the ones depositing all the time , wouldnt they find a more convient & quicker way to get their $$ on a site ( ie neteller ) besides the standard credit card/debit card option ........

Im not saying they'll still be as many fish ... but I think it wont fall off too much
  3. That's what I'm screamin... how do so many posters in this forum not see the big picture - look outside of your computer rooms people, this ban isn't just about your individual ability to play online poker
  4. I think that a lot of fish that currently play on sites that will accept US players will still play. But I don't think many new customers will pop up.
  5. my goofball W.T. buddies that don't have room on their credit cards use the phone card thing to make deposits on party....they are about as fishy as u get
  6. I don't think we will notice a change right away but a year or 2 from now shit will get tighter and tuffer to play but us die hard will still be playing but the fish will dry up a bit but that ain't such a bad thing cause some of had to have learned a little by now anyways
  7. Its a shame that you my friend are not seeing this as gambling is to some people and ADDICTION. Its like crack to some people. People suck dick for crack. What would stop someone from getting a phone card to get their fix? Buying a phone card is alot more comparable than sucking cock bro.
  8. I work at a 30 person office where there are 4 or so online players. Now most of the brokers in the office are very well off financially, and i was asking them what they would do since this situation went down on friday. All of them said they would find other alternatives to play online. Not one of them said "well...its been a good ride but..." These guys are casual online players at best, and not one of them said they'd be done when this bill gets signed.
  9. I probably know 10 casual online players in real life, none of them are even considering quitting until they can't open stars or Bodog etc. anymore. I highly doubt the Govt is looking to crack down on players, just the operators. I'm sure there are plenty of willing operators around the world that are more than happy to never come to America again if they had too. There is way too much money to make for this to just stop.
  10. Sure, unless the US government goes completely manic on us, there should always be plenty of online poker for US citizens.

They already look like a bunch of idiots for attaching it to the port bill.

Our Nevada congress woman came right out and said on the news last night that it was just a bunch of bullshit.

It was a back room deal. I will really be interested to see what type of enforcement comes down the pike, considering the circumstances under which the bill was passed.

We might be playing with a few more Euros and Asians in years to come, GAMBUL.
  11. Why do ppl keep thinking the games will get tighter? Do US players think they are the only ones playing? There is every other country in the world still playing online poker hehe. Still will be lose games just less ppl.
  12. How the hell do you deposit using a phone card? That's just so weird.
  13. just continue to play lol
lets not get too worked up
  14. everyone I know uses netteller or firepay so as long as u can keep doing that then there wont be a problem
