  1. i have $1100 in UB. i need to withdraw like $300 for some spending money, is $800 enough to 6/8 table $16 9 mans on pokerstars?
what are the fields like for these? how many regs-fish usually
  2. the fields aren't strong but you may want to start lower in case you start off on a bad run.

or play $16's and if you get down to $500 start playing $5 sngs.

^^^^^ sounds like good advice, I would do the same.
  4. Thats good advice indeed, and ill certainly keep the second option in mind if i were to drop below $500

ive run 25% ROI over 500 games at the $11/$22 Ultra turbos (same starting stacks, just 2 minute levels) so im pretty confident i can beat these stakes

only difference is they were on UB and these are on stars, so obv. way more regs.

but i should take less swings as the $16s are just normal turbos.

ive instead decided to keep my roll on UB and grind to to $1300, leaving me $300 to cash out and $1000 to put on stars, which i think is a little better than $800 and should give me more confidence.

  5. 500 games is too small of a sample size to see how bad swing can get, especially with hyper turbos.
  6. I would play the $6 turbos until you got to 1500. When you move up you'll have confidence and a bit more of a cushion for a downswing.

thats sound advice. ill stick at UB though, as ive figured out that playing $6 on stars is -EV...
$6.50 turbos on stars = 8% rake, no rakeback
$6.50 Ultra turbos on UB = 8% rake, 30% rake back

    $16 on stars = 6% rake, no rakeback ($1 rake on a $15 stake)
$11/$22 on UB = 10% rake, 30% rakeback ( on average $1.00 rake on a $15 stake with 30% rakeback taken into account)

so its +EV for me to play on UB until i step upto the $16 level, obviously im completely ignoring FPPs etc. on stars, but ill take the rakeback in cash until i move up and i can get the same rake deal + FPPs on stars.

although this seems nitty, im planning to put a HUGE amount of volume in during july and august, so it will all add up

  8. $800 is enough to play the $12's, gl.
