Okay, guys How should I build my bankroll? My bankroll is right now 650$. I have tryed to play MTT's, SnG's and cash games but nothing seems to help... In my opinion I play fairly good poker but It feels like I'm unluckiest player in world... I have had some kind of a succes in MTT's in MTT's I have ROI of 32% (which it is not a good ROI?). SnG's I have ROI of 20%. I consider myself as a tournament player. So I hope you guys can give me some advices how to build my bankroll. I'm having right now 24 straight non-cashes in MTT's is that normal or should I really look at my game and find problems?
P.S. I'm finding new site to play generally site which have a lot of tournament at day time (Right now playing at pokerstars). -
$4.40 180 mans (most profitable imo) $5 45 mans and mix in a few $10 180 mans.....play tag early then go after blinds and c bet everything late.....you will crush them.......thank me later
-
The $4.40s are brutal....can play for hours and get nothing..really only top 3 pay anything.
You have enough of a roll to do the $10 180man IMO. -
Dude....
Any ROI is a good ROI, 20% in SnG's is nailing it to the wall.
Say you can play 3 sng's an hour multitabling
3x$20+2x.2 = about $13/hr
So in about 40hrs you'll be up to about $1000 and you can give the $50 a whirl, if you keep the same ROI then
3x$50+5x.2 = 33/hr
If you can maintain that, you could make a nice like semi-pro exsitence, if you can maintain 20% ROI at the $100 sng level, well then welcome to 6 digit income.
They call it grinding for a reason. -
Sounds nice and simple like that, but it's not. The only way you're going to see that kind of hourly rate is by playing as many games as perfectly as you can.
-
Yeah I'm just saying, that's the dream.
I believe it can be done, but if you make 6 figures playing poker you are a pro.
You know all the plays, you've seen all the hands.
No way does 20% hold up to multitabling and 5 to 10 times the stakes, not without grinding it out and beating every level as you go.
But that was my point, if you are grinding out 20% ROI at the $10 level for sit-n-go's that going to be the most consistent way to invest your time in building a bankroll (imho, and alot of others). -
Nobody can maintain 20% over the long term.
-
When you say long term, do you mean as you move up levels or over many many sit-n-gos?
Jenifear has 600+ games on pokerstars with 45% ROI but avg stakes are $13 -
i agree with 10$ 180s if you know tournament mechanics.
-
I understand the term, but what do YOU mean by "tournament mechanics." Some people have different opinions to what that means. Sorry, if I'm being redundant.
Gl all and God bless :-) -
Long term is over thousands of games. Jennifear is also an exception to the rule in general.
