I believe this is the biggest problem that I have. Personally I'm not really sure to start. Just curious if someone could point me in the direction of some basic bankroll guidelines to take into consideration.
To start... right now my account on FT sits at about $400 and I'm not much of a multitabler so 1 table most of the time 2 perhaps 10% of the time. The games I currently findmelfs playing are $10-25 touraments/SNG's and sometimes the odd .25/.50 cash game. Just curious too if these games are out of my support and if I should be moving down... Just how much should you have for certain stakes.
Help would be greatly appreciated. -
Yes you should deffinitely move down a lot if you want to practice basic BR management.
If you would like to take a shot and possibly build a quick BR then keep playing what youre playing. -
Depends on goal, I play up to 25% when trying to build quick or rampage the 5/10 for a double.
Ran 10.00 to 300+ a few nights ago then I was staring at $0.00, fkn Xanax and beer. -
It also depends on whether that $400 is an absolute bankroll, or if you're willing to reload if you go through that. If the former, you really need to consider moving down a few notches; there's too much risk that you'll lose it all, playing at those levles. If it's the latter, then you can afford to be a bit more liberal in your game selection.

read...live by... if you want to play a pro pro pro super safe strategy go bigger...
i know for myself i run with more than 65 entries to sngs... just b/c i dont want to go on a bad down swing and be really pissed off.. i run at over 100... but i also multi table a min. of 8 tables max of 14 or so... so more variance
with 1 table you should be fine with one of these.... if you are playing just for fun 25 buy ins should give you a roll that should stay alive for a while
this is assuming you arent a losing player to begin with...
