  1. I'm heading to Biloxi this Thursday and I will be staying at the Beau Rivage down there. Does anyone have any info on the poker room there? It looks nice on their webpage but it doesn't give any game information. Any help would appreciated.
  2. I used to work in Biloxi every other month before the hurricane. They did not have a pokerroom there at the time so there probably is not a lot of info on it. Although, it is a very nice casino and should be good. The only two that had pokerrooms at the time were the Grand and the Imperial Palace. At the time there were more fish at the Grand and many more tables and game selection. The Palace had a nicer staff and I think was ran a bit better.
  3. Thanks for the information Totty. I guess they must have put in a new poker room when they did the repairs after Katrina. Here is the link to it.

  4. was just there a few weeks ago. great poker room. had 1-2 NL, 2-5 NL, even 5-10 NL goin with a couple limit games as well. they even had a 7-stud game going for a while. prolly the best tourney structure that i found in biloxi. no limits on the buy-ins on cash games so be prepared. couple of very aggressive players sat down and each put about 3 grand on the table. if youre patient, people are going to bet for you when you have a hand so it is fairly easy to double, triple a buy-in in a short period of time. very loose cash games, was card dead all night and still tripled my buy-in. poker room rate is 69 + tax for VERY nice rooms. get a players card and they pay you 1.90 per hour of live action play. best place to play and stay in biloxi IMO
  5. Looks much better than either of the other rooms. I would guess that there would be more money and worse play there too. Thanks for the link. Biloxi was great before.
  6. Thanks for the info! I'm looking forward to the trip.

  7. I went there 2 thursdays ago and it was a nice poker room, but not very much action. There were only about 5-6 tables full, one was 2-5 NL, two 1-2 NL tables and some random LHE tables. Im sure its more crowded on Friday and Saturday though, and they actually gave comps if you requested breakfast and had been playing for several hours on your players card ($6 timed rake every half hour). If you play tournaments check out the Imperial Palace, they have a series of tourneys starting this Friday- heres the link: http://www.ipbiloxi.com/pokerclassic.asp

edit- i played 2-5 and i wanna clarify my "not very much action" statement above- there certainly was a lot of action at the 2-5 table. As a poster said above there is no max buyin so some ppl will buy in very heavy and there are definitely some big pots- what I meant to say was that there wasnt much "traffic" in the poker room overall (grantd it was thursday)
