Bellagio increasing their chips for remaining Five Diamond Events

    I just heard the Bellagio tourneys are increasing their chips to 4 times the buy in for the rest of the series including 100K for the main event. 100K in chips to determine the WPT champ. Hopefully, this will positively effect the field sizes.

    i was there last week when it just began and the field sizes were so small/not donkey enough imo. As it is I'd rather play online or just go get drunk somewhere.

    between the SCOOP for the last week, Dublin running right now and an EPT running next week, coupled with the fact that the Bellagio tournaments tend to have less weak seats, it's not really that surprising that numbers are down i guess.

    I was considering going out there to play a couple, but tbh, from what I read on 2p2 about the fields, it just isn't worth it at all. The fields are so tiny and relatively tough that it'd be pointless.

    do you think they need to decrease their buy ins? or add other non hold em events? it's kind of hard to believe that no one wants to play there anymore since this was my favorite place to play and now no one but solid regulars play there
