Well the $5/10 No limit game has now had almost three full months to test the new limits.

The best games are now and have been at the Isle Casino in Pompano Beach.

Tonight there were 4 main games and a must move table.

The action is intense there and average pots are very big lately. $1000 plus on multi way hands

The all in mentality is not gone yet so there are some really big pots and the games depend on whos there.

We have had pros from Las Vegas and Mississippii here and some did well. Others got smoked by NO FOLD em holdem mentality in South Florida

The most tables running is always the Isle and Gulfstream Park has a good 5/10 going now in the off season. Deep pocket 10/25 game at both venues runs a lot.

Palm Beach Kennel Club is still a nice high stakes area but the local bank rolls have been decimated. I dont see the locals buying in the big game much now as the higher max of $2500 wipes out bank rolls faster than a 1500 cap. Lately there is more action on the 100 to 300 max buy in game. Donkeys are still around but dont drop 500 a pop any more only 100 to 300

Have not been to Hard Rock or Mardis Gras but heard the Hard Rock is dead but when the do get a game the bad beat is 2 per hand so that is a lot of rake. Time rake of 10 to 12 on the 10 25 game and very high on the 5 10 too if it is still time. 2 bad beat is rediculous and a rip off on the tourists that wont get any benefit.

Needs to upgrade the facilities to get me back. Shame as the casino is there and they dont exploit the poker craze the right way.

Have not heard anything out of the Mardis Gras on the 5/10 game. If your a smoker the Indian Casinos are your best bet.
