I have a general question as to what the best poker books are. I've read both super systems by Brunson, a random Sklansky that I don't recall the title, the Esfandiari WPT book (kinda lame)and am currently reading the Phil Gordon series backwards from the new blue book but am always looking to further my game. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks -
Harrington x 3, SS x 2, Theory of Poker for strategy.
I would also recommend Ace on the River for general insight into the life.
Caro was good for tells. I just got the Navarro, but haven't read it yet.
Entertainment - I liked Poker Nation and One of a Kind.
I also liked The Odds - not poker, but Alan Boston and the mind of someone who needs action. -
Theory of Poker is goot, check that out..................I agree about Ace on the River, something about the calmness in which it was written always makes me play better when I read it before I play.

Harrington On Hold'em Vol 1-3. Vol 2 is so important because of the M and Q strategies, esp the M. Buy those 3 and they will pay for themselves in no time. They are for tournament poker. Doyle's Super System 1 & 2 are great for cash games. It covers multiple games, NLH, LH, Stud Omaha, 2-7 lowball. Definitly great for cash games.

The Catcher in the Rye

All right thank you every1. I appreciate the suggestions. The Harrington books are officially on order. Maybe now that I'll know the M and Q strategy's I'll really rock the tourney's. Hope all your bankrolls are monsters and your pots are smokeable. Later.
BTW, Catcher in the Rye is the shit!
