Hey,
Could I get some advice for how many chips is the ideal amount per player (assuming 6-7 players?) for a home game in the format where blinds operate initially at
1 chip - 2 chips
person knocked out
2 chips - 4 chips
person knocked out
3 chips - 6 chips
obviously it's not the ideal way to play but it's the easiest drunk poker amongst friends way to play. What's a decent starting chip stack based on this tho? 40 each? -
we do similar format but start with 100-150 and raise blinds every 10-15mins, it kinda like a turbo sng. but if u raise it like u do i would suggest anywhere from 50-100 depending on how long u want it to last.

Start with 750 chips 150 each. Blinds 1/2, 2/4, 3/6, 4/8, 6/12
Level 1=125 average chip stack 62.5 BB
Level 2=150 average chip stack 37.5 BB
Level 3=188 average chip stack 31.3 BB
Level 4=250 average chip stack 31.3 BB
Level 5=375 average chip stack 31.3 BB
Seems about right to me. Any where from 600 - 800 seems ok.
