I'm working on transitioning to live cash games and am making a trip out to vegas to try and help build the br. I've played out there before but usually just at whatever hotel i happened to be staying at this time I'm looking to make it a little more serious. So does any card room have better games (i.e. more idiots) at a 1/2 or 1/3 level or does it all just depend on the day? Thanks in advance
-
Smaller rooms tend to have easier games to beat I've found from my experience. Of the larger rooms I've always crushed the MGM 1-2 game, but it has a 200 max which kinda sucks.
Venetian 1-2 and Caesars 1-3 are both beatable, but significantly more difficult than the 1-2 games elsewhere. -
This.
Flamingo and Planet Hollywood are terrible.
Actually, Bellagio is not as bad either. People go to say they play at Bellagio or Venetian
Wynn I believe was the hardest over my short sample sizes, as it was the first time playing live I honestly KNEW i was not the best player at the table. -
O sheas noooo, dont go over there full with drunk players.
I prefer Mirage,TI,CP.
What is you bankroll for this games?
I think we'll be easy to gring online. -
thanks for all the advice so far. I walked through o'sheas once and it seemed a little sketch but if you guys say so i'll have to try it out. br is only at around 2k or so also, just wondering are the comps at these various places all pretty solid?

I second that the Mirage and Planet Hollywood are the easier $1-$2 games. I play 75% of my time at the Mirage.
Good Luck! -
You obv dont go to O'Sheas for poker you go there to play beer pong this is the only reason to go to O'Sheas albeit a very good one...

The ghetto horse racing in the middle of the MGM, either that or Halo 3 for xbox.
-
That horse racing game at MGM is pretty fucking fun
-
lolz @ 90k, obv the buddah won out.
-
Hell I will go down there right now cant win a pot tonite anyway haha.

My wife and I love that game; pretty good drink service in that spot also.
They also have one at the IP, but the placement is terrible.
my other vegas lowroller spot is the $2 craps game at casino royal. 100X odds, so freaking sick!
easy 1/2 games in vegas, lets see.....
oh yeah they are all retardly fucking easy. Osheas is OBV a must sit at every hour of the day thoose table are ooozzzing money.
after that, it is really just game selection. Sit down in any game for an hour; if it doesn't have at least 3 fish get up and go to the next hotel; it is that simple.
the only time it is acceptable to play in a tough game in vegas, is when there is one uber fish open shoving every 5th hand. -
That settles it; I'm moving to Vegas.

i went to vegas last month and i found the best cardroom was CEASARS for 2 reasons : 1- its right beside the sportbook so there was a ton of action when the bball games ended (either they were stuck at sportsbetting wanting to make it back or thye made $$ at sportsbetting and wanted to gamble at poker....). ALSO, the rake at ceasars is higher then anywhere else in vegas so the vegas pros DONT play there, making the games really soft. I played a ton at the venetian and a lot at ceasars and a little at all the other places (bellagio, wynn, mgm, and a few others) Venetian has by far the nicest room and by far the hardest players. Ceasars 1-3 and 2-5 was pretty soft so i recommend ceasars.

horse racing owns the biggest odds horse hits like every 6th race its so sick

If anyone is looking for 2/5, try Bellagio. The games have been very good lately.
