  1. Anybody making millions playing limit holdem? It seems like some of the best players in the world like the Dang bros. couldnt beat limit holdem once they got to a certain level...just wondering who has mastered limit holdem.

  2. Im a loser in NL tournys, NL cash games, PL games

The only game I can beat is mixed limit games. including LHE. much easier in live games. ie not online, but online limit games are beatable just not as many bets.

    play anywhere from 5/10 - 30/60
  3. I have nothing to add to this thread except that I hate limit holdem.
  4. Limit Holdem is a lost art IMO. Those used to be the best and most active games around before the poker boom.

So many people say there is not much skil in limit, but that is just ignorent. Not saying I am great at it, but everyone is so caught up in no limit that the limit game has been lost.

  10. Different question, but as usual the same answer:

    Phil Ivey
  11. I'd have to say TexasLimitKing is the best. I've seen him just abuse Phil Ivey and once saw him on two tables with a million on each.
  12. Love limit holdem. Live low/mid stakes games are are soft. Online more difficult.
  13. The Iceman....big black dude in Vegas. Apparently a legend.
  14. <3 the limit game, tons of excellent live players, online just plays so different.....

I used to play it for my meals for 5 years in the 90's. It is still very beatable just not spread as often or as much these days.

Also, def harder game to beat online at the mid-upper levels for more than 1-2/per 100 but still beatable you just need the proper BR to be able to multi-table and play through the natural swings...
