Villian stated he put me on AK, ?? For him wouldnt a RR on flop give rhat info? Not to mention 2 barreling 40% of your stack.? What is the optimal play on his side.???

    Thanks
  2. Don't try and get into the head of a live tourney donk. It'll mess you up. I think you need to raise to at least 1100-1200 pre with this many limpers in the hand. Other than that I think you played the hand fine.

  3. Mdshack.....yeah the standard raise was 500 , felt much more and i fold all hands I beat. Not in his head, I was thinking more about how to play his hand optimally.

  4. The only way to play A5 optimally there is to fold imo.

  5. raise more pre, honestly shocked only 1 person called

how much does he have left behind on the river? Id probably expect him to have Qx a lot and valuebet although it worked out in this case

    hope that helps

  6. almost all live donks state that they put you on AK when they call with rags. clear head and move on imo
  7. There's a lot of truth to what ivanov said. He should have folded pre if he perceives you as decent because you obv have a pretty strong range raising from the blinds. I'm fine with your preflop raise sizing if you feel a bigger raise would have folded everyone out. I generally would raise a bit bigger because 800 would get me 3 callers in most live tournies but if you think it gets you 1 caller it's fine. Your flop and turn bet sizing should be 2/3rds to 3/4ths pot. No reason to bet smaller, especailly on the turn.
