  2. To be honest I don't know how you can risk your whole stack in the 2nd level with a jack high. Even if your read is right there is still a chance he has a A or K high, or a low pocket pair. But you definately have some grapefruits.
     1
  3. i've never called off all my chips with Jack-high before, buy hey, you nailed it! Congrats on the nice read and follow up

  4. Honestly, if I read that hand history with no intro I would say it was a misclick by both of you and you were posting to show us how funny it was.

I guess I am wondering...when you say 'read,' do you mean you put him on 10 high or lower? Because anything else you can't really justify this.

Some would even say this is a bluff call on your part, which is, to be sure, one of the most complicated moves to pull off. However, it is by far the best bluff-call I have ever seen. Good work.
  5. stay in the pond with the fish... that hand wasn't even worth the 15 chips to see the flop. Terrible call, even though you were "right"
  6. You have mastered the art of the bluff call, now snatch the pebble from my hand. Personally, I think it's an awful call, not because of what I know you both have, but let's not even think about his cards. That flop bet is a horrible overbet, and screams weakness, though at nanolimits a lot of people are dumb.. they go all in when they flop huge out of sheer excitement. To call this, you have to have enough to call a bluff, and not really care if you're wrong. I assume this is a $5 sng or something.. so $5 isn't much anyway, but not worth throwing away on jack high. I agree with what was said above.. fold preflop.
  7. Monster call preflop w/ J4 offsuit - showed some great instinct. AWESOME call on the flop w/ a Jack high only, and knowing you had your opponent completely dominated. Great dicipline on this hand, and pushing it in when you KNEW you had the best hand. Totally what the game's about.

WOW....I almost kept a straight face writing this post.
  8. run
    run and hide

..umm.was this in one of those 1$ entry tournies i hope?

  9. How is this a good call? This is a terrible call...

2 people in the pot behind you still

    Tiny pot

What are you trying to prove?

    Is this a joke?
  10. o.k. o.k yall got me. pbrentis is da man. I was reachin for my soda and my elbow hit the mouse. didnt even realize what had happened till the turn fell. THe best MISCLICK of my life for sure, ive misclicked fold with aces b4 , so this was justice. I posted it like this so I could have the honor of havin a player like isuck123 respond. YEA thats right isuck123 RESPONDED TO MY POST. hopin for T soprano, and a lengthy rebuttal about how I was the worst tournament player ever, but gettin isuck123 is pretty damn good. I told the table what happened and i will find those hand historys and post them so YOU WILL BELEIVE ME. Great fun though and the craziest misclick yet.

  11. so you misclicked twice? once preflop and again on the flop? you gotta stop drinkin so much soda.
  12. This has got to be along the lines of "i went all in to see where i was at"(the funniest quote ever!) This guy has got to be kidding. What are the chances you knew the other dude, and you were chip dumping? HMMMMMMM???!!!???

Elix Powers would love this one: "He called with a jack high,...he called with a jack high!!!"

    gg J high

  16. Dam, cant get nothin by hooks. 14 REPLYS TO MY POST HOLY CHIT IVE MADE IT IN THE POCKETFIVES COMMUNITY. 3 of them where mine but thats an 11 reply profit, with numbers like these maybe i can make it.

    me too
  18. where do I find this fat girl on girl link?
  19. I'm not buying this at all...I think he really did try to make a "great" call and when he posted here and got flamed by everyone, he made a fake hand history talking about how he misclicked...I don't buy it whatsoever, you were too enthusiastic on the 1'st post and so excited..I call bluff right here

  20. lol nice call. but you have to realise that even if your J high is good... You still can't call that lol....

You putting it all on the with JACK HIGH theres a difference between BETTING with J high and CALLING with J high ... your nuts, nice hand. Don't recommend you doing it often
  21. Exxxccceeelllent. (taps fingers together).

By the way, a few posters have mentioned that you should have folded preflop. I completely, utterly, totally disagree with that assertion. In this case you had to post 15 chips for the chance to win 150...most of the time (OK, all of the time) that situation is worth it no matter what 2 cards you hold.

Second, you have clearly shown the ability to outplay your opponents postflop without even paying attention. If it is possible for you to take down 3000 chip pots with Jack high you should rarely ever fold. Ever. Seriously.
  22. thanksPbrentis, neverfold?? hmmmmmmmm you are the man cuz you were the first to figure it out. I really did want t soprano to respond cuz i find his analytical skills to be 2nd to none, but then i realized i would have to change my name and i probably would never be able to bluff again with everyone goin in against me with Q high. I dont really care about the donk that thinks i "tried to make a great call"(LMFAO), all of it was worth it. I got the pocketfives community talkin and thats what i wanted. A misclick like that deserved to be posted and even though I know deception is NEVER used on this site, i.e. I HAVE AN EXTRA 10K AND IM LOOKIN TO BACK SOMEONE(LMAO), i decided to do it. Surprised at how quick pb got it!!!!!!!!!!!! For furthur proof look up the people who were at the table. thanks for all the posts guys and i will bring you my next amazing play, right after i go all in to see where i am at. Bruce.
