    I used to think The_D_RY and apestyles were TAGs but I've seen them both make some plays that would make you think otherwise so they go in my former TAG mtter list.

    this thread comes up like once every 2 or 3 months and i never rly know what to make of it because i've seen several players who ppl bring up as tag make tons of plays that would suggest otherwise.

    however the guy that always comes to my mind as a great quintessential tag play is mattg.

    puffin, ajk, menlo, bax, pokerpro, and even pearljammer are not rly tag's at all imo but then again what the hell does tag even mean.

    I was going to say, I don't think of many of these guys as tags based on a small sample size of railage.

    I always thought of myself as one of the best TAG players in the world. My freeze TAG game could use a little work for sure but no one can touch my flashlight TAG skillz!

    Amak, you are definitely TAG. As I remember my unfortunate mistake at the WSOP of thinking you were LAG and paying the price, lol.

    Not sure about the exact top 5 but some of the better tag players in my mind:

    Bax,
    Actionjeff,
    Roothlus,
    ch0ppy,
    hoodini

    Cant confuse these guys ability to open up in good spots as being LAG, their overall styles are tagish, but because of the ability to change/adapt that makes them the better tag players in my mind.

    When you look at the lag players, someone who comes to mind of having a good tag/shortstack game is annette_15, she doesn't give up or get too out of line when lower, she really picks better spots then some of the other great lag players when they get low.

    Obviously Menlo can make moves but even in his cardrunners vids he comments on how much of a nit he is in mtts [& how u should reraise him FYI] and that he plays solid ABC poker
