best triple crown tournaments...

    OK I'm afraid there are like nine reasons I could get flamed for this ... repost, veiled brag post, read the webpage, etc ... but I actually haven't been able to find definitive info (and I seriously doubt that any p5s hotshots will care that I won *one* little $100 tournament).

    So I won a $129 bounty tournament on FT a couple of days ago, and I figure I might as well make at least a half-assed attempt to win a triple crown before the week's up. The kind of tournaments that qualify are pretty much my bread and butter anyway, so I'll try to focus on them.

    Are there any sites (open to US players) other than FT, UB, stars, Bodog and Absolute that qualify?

    Does the week end exactly 24 x 7 hours after the start of the first tournament win? Or if I won a tournament on Tuesday afternoon do I have to win my third by Monday night?

    What are the best tournaments out there to give myself a little bit of a chance? It seems like tournaments on Stars tend to have several hundred entrants, whereas a lot of the tournaments on UB or bodog often fall just short of 100 players. I almost never play on Absolute, but I'd take a couple of stabs if there are good tournaments there.

    So far I'm going with

    any Stars $109 or $50 + 1 rebuy + addon
    bodog 7PM (if it gets 100)
    UB 8:01PM

    and occasionally I've found something else that works. Are there any others I should add to my list?

    I realize it's a longshot, especially since I'm not a 30-tournament-a-day guy, but it's a fun goal to have, and hopefully I'm at least slightly +$EV along the way anyway. Hopefully.

    Well obv pretty much every stars tourney is going to qualify, so just go for the ones that have smaller fields, ie 55 1r/1ao's and the nightly 22r. Also, there is a 33r on UB at 10:00 that is a good one. I dont play on the Dog, so cant help you there.

    thanks - hadn't thought about the $30R on UB - that's a good addition to my list.

    I guess you could go crazy trying to buy a triple crown by playing every rebuy tournament Daniel Negraneau style.

    this shit is hard now. i tried a couple weeks ago and had trouble finding qualifying tournaments on bodog and ub. their big field tournametns are all like $5 buyins and the high buyin tournaments only draw like 70people. bring back paaaaaaarty pokah.

    They should add a new one to the list instead. Make a hat trick for three on one site in one week.

    I might be wrong, but I don't think Absolute tournies count anymore.

    Best ones for Bodog:

    Nightly 8:30pm 20-30K
    Nightly 12:15AM $55 11K
    Nightly 9:30PM $30RA 10K
    Sun 1pm $109 30K
    Sun 4pm $109 100K

    And I believe any MTT counts that starts before 168 hours after the 1st win.
