  1. I don't play much online anymore, only really to qualify for live events, and the occassional drunken sit and go.....but what are everyones thoughts on all the different qualifyers out there....the last two years I've come up dry(after qualifying on Prima 3 years ago-which was so soft compared to stars and tilt) and spent about 600, and 800 trying various methods

Seems like steps are dominated by high-stakes SNG grinders, and it seems like One-Seat tourneys are a complete waste of time seeing as though you will have to beat a huge field, and come in 1st(last year got heads up in a 33 rebuy one on stars and came in 2nd, then wanted to kill myself lol)....seems like the best chances are the large tournest will many seats guaranteed(even though they have a higher buy-in)

    Thoughts please?

    Thanks

  2. FTP 300/500/1ks or 200 DS's...on stars, the 30rs or 650s imo. Satty into these of course.
  3. If you play on carbon poker or other sites on the merge network, they only have like 1 mtt satellite to WSOP per month...but it's an easier/smaller field and you can get in cheaply.

It's ~$500 to buy-in directly...but I've played about 5 of them and never for more than 20-30 bucks. When i won a seat in 2007 WSOP, i got in for $5 and beat 124 people...top two seats payed trips to vegas. I was a beginner player too. Since then I've place top 20 a few times and had one early bust. So it's a pretty good value IMO.

If you sign up for carbon poker here you get rakeback too...which would be cool.
But not as cool as having joined when it was called poker.com. Can't beat that! :^P

anyway, I'm going to be trying to win one on stars and pdc poker. GL to you.
