As far as my open I like to stay active if I havnt got any good cards for a lil while ill open suited connectors and/or broadway cards etc.
EASSA has been calling alot then folding to alot of flop bets.
Naj111 has been a lil tricky. Floating and check raising some cbets etc
The flop is kinda connected. I do have top pair and some back door draws. I dont see how this flop is really hitting them. IMO Im only beat by a few hands AQ AKc AA KK QQ and maybe they flats here with 99/77/J10? I am betting here for value but what I really need is some info.
The pot is currently 55800
is my bet too big here? Maybe ill get more info with 27500? Im not sure what my option here are? I dont like checking here thats for sure. -
i bet closer to 1/2 pot on the flop given his stack size. you put the villian in a bind when you bet 32k pot because he only has like 73k behind and might elect to fold some of his weaker holdings. heres the thing, with top pair on this board vs this villian's stack size you're never folding, so you need to bet an amount that will induce him to get it in as light as possible... just my 2 cents

fooooold pre some of the times this tricky player could be stealing since you repped weakness and checkd
so i like to put out a bet that will give me info on my opponents range. bet maybe 1/3 pot and find out what
he does, he could just be labeling u as an easy to steal from player. so there is some equity in betting out of
position here , it looks weak to him so he will have to determine if your reppin weakness or if you hold a
monster. -
I'd be a little apprehensive of the guy with 14 BB smooth calling...scarier than a re-raise. Or maybe he's just lousy, because Naj should clearly be in push/fold mode.
As far as the Hero, I think you played it fine. I'm not always raising QToff there, but it's a reasonable way to mix up your play. The just-over-1/2 pot bet is fine as well, IMO. Unfortunately, you can't lay down to his shove, and I've just got a bad feeling that he's got the overpair. -
no

Thats what I was thinking as well. The turn was an offsuit 10 giving me top two and giving the straight his holdings were KJddOriginally Posted by grapsfan
