    I guess he's hoping that people will copy and paste his name rather than type it out, so they'll send to the one with the i.

    I have to wonder if PJ (the real one) will get any unsolicited donations due to this.

    no, he'd tell someone he needs money on another site, and that he'll send on stars. Especially if he asks a friend of mine, they may send it... now of course that other account would obviously not be "pearljammer" or anything like it, but they'd probably just say that they needed it for a friend or something. Because of that, most of the time the person being scammed figures it out, but not every time. If someone really needed money on stars (which a lot of times big $ players do), they could easily fall for this.

    I'm well aware of this as people have used similar names to mine (and other people like Below, ape, etc...) on other sites many, many times in the past.

    Thankfully stars has already closed this account.

    Always scammers trying to make money off the succesful guy's names.....Jon and the rest of them have to be proactive for their own reputation's sake. That or make sure this isnt some sicko stalker.
