1. Ok so what's everyone's general idea on what they should be doing with a big stack...

Maybe where you are top 5 in chips or so with a couple hundred ppl left after the first hour or 2 online. As a chip leader at your table for sure, what's the best strategy?

If the most anyone at y table has is 15-25 bb’s, then what is our optimal strategy against decent opponents? Especially if our shortest stacks are just pushing and the bigger of these smallish/small-medium stacks are doing go and go’s and pushing. How tight do I need to be. I mean do I just play good cards in position and go from there?

10k stack and blinds are 75/150 What if I pick up a hand like AJo in the bb and a 3k stack pushes from the cutoff or HJ? What do you do?
2. Its 100% dependent on the players at the table and how they are playing.

There is no 1 way. Find weaknesses and exploit them.

Punish limpers because you have figured out they limp weak or better yet like to limp fold

Steal the blinds of the guys that are playing tight

3 bet the guys you know are raising light alot , especially if you see them raise fold to 3 bets

Call in position against super tight guys that shut down as soon as they miss the flop and take the pot away because they only bet when they have and check/fold when they don't

find good spots to raise the flop against guys that c bet 100% after raising

squeeze play the light raiser after he's called by the light caller

etc etc

watch and learn tendencies and exploit them ... the way to play is is the way these players tell you to play through observing and using rational thought

edit: Also if you get caught bluffing remember you may need to change gears ... all of these things can also establish the optimal image for you to get paid off when you have it ... be weary of how you must be being veiwed by the table and also be weary of how much some people may be observing more so then others if that makes sense

4. i think elky is a very reputable player and obviously this is a good article. I'm just having trouble consistently applying some of these "here and there" type of information as poker is based on more things than this one line. Guys like Elky have the natural gift of being good at poker probably from the beginning...or probably didn't have a hard time moving up.

I guess we just have to keep on learning!
