There are 60 left from roughly 1600 ppl. Im like 14th in chips. I've been opening frequently, hence why I called here w / AJ. My question is, at this point in the tournament, should I fold here and continue to accumulate chips with minimal risk, or go for the kill by calling and potentially winning this pot? Had I won this flip, I would have been top 5 stack with like 50 ppl left. The hand crippled me and now I'm wondering if it was the correct play. What is the best play here? Thanks everyone who responds.

While you've opened a lot of pots, has anyone played back at you?
Whether I call here is going to depend on my opponent and what my image is on this table; if I've been running over the table, it's fair to assume that some time along, even the most passive player will take a stand, so I'm always aware of my raising frequency.
If the three-bettor is nitty (99+/AQ+), this isn't a great call, but not many people are that tight. OTOH, it does wonders for the image of any aggressive player to be able to show himself capable of laying down a hand now and again.
After all this blather, I'd likely have folded here, as I think it's better not to risk 45% of my stack on AJ. With AQ+, I'm calling. -
i'd call, about cEV you need 41% here and agasint a 18x shove if you are active and you open from CO you have it.
i think a tight shoving range should be like: 66+,AJs+,KQs,AJo+,KQo
In a 11$ they doesn't reshove light so i may fold this if you have a tight image but i call with your image (88+/AJs are fine) -
i never call here i think it s bad and u ll lose money with this call in the long run; half of your stack for AJ -it s not worth it; your also 14 th in chips.. aj also pretty weak hand; i think u should have easily folded; so what if u ve been active; at the lower stakes people seldom reship light; also he wasnt desperate

thanks all, ----def agree with luckierno's thoughts...as I was leading toward the same conclusion. More importantly than just the details of this hand, I was wondering about big coin flip pots in the late stages of a tournament. I feel as though I could have continued to work my way up instead of risking that much on a call where I couldn't be sure I was ahead. good stuff guys , appreciate it

well i m glaD my post didnt upset u ;didnt wanna sound that aggressive; i posted a coinflip of mine also late in a tourney check it out please

After thinking this over, I've come round to the idea of calling being correct-it's not often you'll be faced with the bigger aces or pps, unless your opponent is Mr
