I have a question for the more experienced SNG players out there. I find myself a fair amount of the time in the money or at the bubble with a big stack. Not a bad thing right? If another player with 1/2 or 1/3 my stack raises and I look at my big pocket pair I often push all in. Of course they call and its a race with their AK or AQ. With the fact I lose my share of those races(actually more than my share if I may whine) would it be better to just call the raise and push on the flop when no overcards hit? I just hate going from big stack to 3rd money or no money on 2 lost races-thnx for the advice.

sorry if this was a weak question, thnx for the "help"

I dont know what type of SNG level $ you are talking about, but im guessing small stakes. If this is the case you are playing the right way. Three handed, a PP is a very good hand. Most of the time shove (unless you have a very good read on the player) and you will end up winning more than you lose. Also It sounds like you need more of a sample to go by. Remember as the big stack put the pressure on them.

You should post specific hands.

If you have a big pocket pair, you are almost always correct to shove against a raise.
