    Hey everyone, this is just a small thank you to the entire pocketfives community, this is the site that really got me seriosu about poker, and now the hours of hard work and opractice are finally starting to pay off, i hope it is just the start of good things to come, i just really would like tot hank all the gusy that post good strategic analysis and sicussion, the articles on br management etc. they have helped me a ton, alos specific shouts to all the ppl i talk to voer aim and toher forums, thats have helped me with certain hands and analyzing for hours, thank you all so much, best of luck to everyone, Andrew a.ka danewfdonk

    Lol, but in all seriousness, this isnt a brag post or whatever which some will obv feel, for 1 i got nothing to brag about, i am just happy, and this site is probably 80% of the reason i decided to take poker seriously

    Also if there are some guys, that have been through the whole considering this for fulltime/pro or whatever that were attending school, university, colelge, etc, id love to caht, anyone that has a few free mintues for me, please hit me up for AIM, id love to talk to some people that have been through this , this week has changed my outlook, and im trying to prepare going forward

    lol congrats, this site had just made me realize how bad i am!!! Although first week of school up 400 playing .25/.50 nl!!! Maybe I just needed a shorter time frame to stick to

    actually that was an aspect i found important to learn, when to stop a session, i used to spew hundreds of $'s late at night by just polaying a 109 and gambling and busting first hour, major leakkk

    I really like this post because I feel strongly that you went about trying to get good at poker the 100 percent right way and now its starting to pay off, whenever anyone asks me tips on how to get better I say something along the terms of "poker is like anything else, you get from it what you put in," so once again glad to see hard work is paying off and best of luck to you in the future Andrew.

    Wow,menlo responding to my post, wowl, im honored, thanks somuch man, well i honestly,prior to this january i was like everyone else, depositing 50 100 over and over

    occasiionaly id go on runs and hit 1k, and id promptly playw ay over my head, and get owned, and thatw as real discouraging it didnt happen not once, but multiple times, then i finally found this site, and said wow, bankroll management, wow, tournament strategy, and seen there were people beating this game for great amounts of $ with coinsistency and i set out to try to achieve similar success, and of coruse from jan to april, the results were sporatic, and uinconsistent and i was still taking too many shots, without the game for it, but i fought and clawed, and have finally reached a point where im confident, adequately rolled, and mentally stable and happy with myself, life situation, that i think i ahve a shotn at it, thansk for all the support again guys, and just let anyone know, if you work hard, its possible

    hey also if anyone is interested idlike to start some sort of team plb challenge for october, and id like to start chatting to find a teammate anyone whos interested aim me at danewfdonk
