  1. Hey all - I've been reading P5s for a few months but never got around to contributing so this is my first post.

My question has to do with situations where you're in the SB and action is folded around to you. Say your M is 3 or 4, BB is a solid player, not too loose or tight, just average with a medium chip stack. Is this an instant push regardless of the cards? If not what determines how often or with what you push? Would your action change based on whether 5% or 15% of the field is left? I ask because it seems to to bust me every so often whether I have a decent hand or 93o, the BB feels obligated to call. What are your thoughts?
  2. you shouldn't get to the point where your M is that low anyway (unless you just got almost destacked). i think you should be pushing before it ever gets to that point, as you will be called because it's so cheap for others to look you up.
  3. Yes, ideally you'll never have an M so low but it does happen every so often and a lot of times it's nearly impossible to be the first one in the pot when it means it's for all your chips. If BB's M is 10-15, which is a common number late in many MTTs, a guy pushing his 3 to 5 M stack still dents him. Taking into account that yes, you should have been pushing already with an M so low (and you probably already have) can you really turn down the chance to get your chips in heads up when it's just you and the BB, regardless of your holdings, or is folding and keeping half the BB for a better chance with better position a wiser chioice?
