With Blinds this big, what is your play?

    We are down to three as you can see from the hand history, my first time even getting remotely close to the final table in one of these. Merheb has been shoving into my bb a lot when folded around to him. This is the very first time he has limped into my bb, although this is the first hand down to 3.

    Mehreb also seemed to be playing very tight, playing bad as well, folding for 3k more with blinds 4k8k out of the bb.

    Whats your play?

    Read above torubu, he had been shoving or giving me a walk whenever it was folded to him. This is the first time he just called.

    And obviously I lost, I shoved. Guy calls with Q6o, 6 ball on the river for 100k...but we all know thats why I made the post.

    It's a obv shove here with K high and 5 BB's left. You are a 3 to 1 dawg to the CL who only has 16 BB left himself. Almost everyone is in shove mode. Not really any post flop play left.

    Down side to not shoving is you miss the flop and check he shoves and wins the pot with Q high.

    i would raise 3-3.5x the big blind to make it look like you want a call, giving off impressions that you are strong. if he reraises you or calls then you are obviously beat and fold to any kind of resistance. hit the check/fold button on the ensuing streets to come. hope this helps, because your tournament life is worth a lot more than these math figures that people will throw at you or anything like that.

    Whats the worst hand people are shoving here, I probably ship it with about any hand here. But I am wondering what most peoples ranges are here that warrant a shove?

    I'm shoving about 50% here, and sometimes more. A lot of this hand is read dependent.
