blocking cash games

    please tell me there is a way to lock cash games so u can only play tournaments.... lol

    Hahaha... Cash games are the devil aren't they.

    If the poker sites let you block the cash games, it would be like casinos placing clocks inside the casino and making exits easily accessible.

    Whatta they care....they are getting all the $$$ one way or another
    (One way would be tournament fees and rake would be another....so thats the one way and thats the another)

    Trust me, you can't. I once emailed support and asked them. They replied back with some fiasco about how they could get me help if I have a gambling problem. I was like, "LOL WTF"....

    Actually I would have to check but I think there is a way on party poker, with their new software. Click on the "real balance" link to the left and it will bring up a mini account screen. On the bottom right thre is a drop down box that you can use to set your maximum buy in for any of their tables/slots/blackjack. I would assume if you set it to 0 you couldn't play.

    Its always an option.

    Well if you are a losing player I can understand only playing tournaments...it's actually pretty smart. Hell a bad player can have a rush of cards and go deep in a tournament...happens thousands of times every day. These guys are going to be losing players no matter what but at least in a tournament it's more controled.
